Anneliese C. Bolland is an associate professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Alabama, As the ICIR’s Research Coordination Director, Anneliese advises and collaborates with the ICIR team to craft proposals for external funding and create outreach and evaluation plans for external funding opportunities. She also serves as the liaison between the ICIR and Office of Research in the College of Communication and Information Sciences.
Dr. Bolland is an interdisciplinary scholar whose research interests focus on risk and protective factors related to adolescent development, particularly in communities characterized by economic poverty. She is a methodologist who is also interested in sample representativeness, particularly absent random sampling strategies. Finally, Anneliese is an evaluator and leads evaluations of federally and state funded projects (~$21,000,000). She has published more than 30 journal articles and book chapters. She has also published Beyond Compromise: Cultivating Principled Negotiation Skills.
